Rye and Tootgarook: Local Area Traffic Management (LATM)

Maw Civil has been engaged on many of the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council’s LATM projects. Rye and Tootgarook is just one of them. On this project we demolished this existing road surfaces and kerbing, and built two new compact concrete roundabouts on the intersecting roads, before re-asphalting the areas and adding new line marking.  

The aim of LATMs is to create safer road systems and reduce speed, thus, reducing road trauma.
