Since acquiring and consolidating the operations of T W Maw & Sons Pty Ltd and Japco Pty Ltd in 2000, Managing Director, John Plumridge has guided Maw Civil’s continued growth as one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most respected civil construction contractors.
Backed by more than five decades of local experience, the business has delivered a diverse range of projects across residential and commercial developments, transport infrastructure, environmental works, marinas, golf courses, and public sector construction. This extensive experience, combined with a hands-on approach and commitment to quality, continues to underpin everything we do.

Maw Civil’s mission is to deliver the highest quality civil projects and plant hire to all our customers, whether they are a government body, commercial builder or private client.
We have a strong workforce made up of long-term employees and only the top subcontractors who hold years of combined experience to ensure only the best output.
Our employees have been handpicked based on their ability and level of craftmanship, as well as their personal qualities and values. We like to treat our employees like family; to nurture, train and develop them into the best they can, delivering work they and Maw Civil can both be proud of.
